Assessment Process Timeline
The assessment would continue year-to-year until terminated by the Board. No rate increases would occur for at least 5 years, with potential CPI adjustments (not to exceed 3% annually) beginning in fiscal year 2030-31.
Preliminary approval of Engineer's Report by Board of Commissioners

Notice & Ballots
May 2025: Assessment notices and ballots mailed to property owners

45-Day Period
May-July 2025: Minimum 45-day period for return of assessment ballots

Public Hearing
July 2025: Public hearing for testimony and ballot tabulation

Implementation
If approved, assessment begins fiscal year 2025-26
